If I have learnt anything in the few weeks that I have been here, it is that Manchester has a fantastic community of digital marketing agencies specialising in SEO including PushON, Mediacom, 3 Door Digital, Return On Digital and many more! It’s also home to some of the most influential people in the field of search, including PushON’s very own Simon Wharton. And its great to see so many getting involved in MMU’s new agency life programme, giving us students a chance to get away from lecture theatres and into the real world of digital marketing!

As well as being home to some of the best SEO agencies, Manchester also hosts UK’s finest Search, Analytics and Social Conference, SAScon, which takes place in June each year. This two-day conference, now in its fourth year attracts a large number of digital marketing professionals and features some of Europe’s leading search and social specialists. Next years event will be held on 6 & 7 June 2013 and is not to be missed! Tickets available shortly!

Every month, the SEO community across Manchester come together at #mancsas meet ups, the last being held at the Odder Bar on Oxford Road in October.
