Sam joined PushON in 2008 as a technical SEO consultant, specialising in open-source web development and online marketing. He’s since progressed to the role of Web Development Manager, taking on responsibilities in sales, consultancy, project management, analysis, development and quality assurance, although he is particularly focussed on e-commerce marketing and development.

The list of clients Sam has provided web development and online marketing solutions for PushON include are Vodafone, Bench, Hyundai, Best Western Hotels, The Little Greene Paint Company and Thomson Al Fresco. His work is typically to an award-winning standard, and he expects no less from his team.

Sam’ work has been recognised with numerous industry awards; the E-Targeting and Marketing prize at the Fresh Awards for his work with Hyundai; Best Website or Microsite for G&J Greenall at the CIPR Awards; Best Use of Search for Love Those Shoes at the Big Chip Awards; and Best Use of Animation for AHD-MI again at the Big Chip Awards.

Prior to joining PushON, Sam studied Computer Science with Business Management (BSc) at the University of Birmingham and went on to join the UKs largest professional services firm, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC). He then spent just under a year at Just Search.

In his spare time Sam runs a number of successful websites, plays squash and drinks a significant amount of real ale. He is also a keen Manchester City fan, and regularly attends games at the Etihad when time, and his digital interests, permit.
