Manchester Search Marketing Event with Mel Carson from Microsoft

We shut the office down today go go to this Search Marketing event.

I saw Mel Carson at PubCon last year and he’s a great speaker. Hopefully he’ll be doing something about

the Microsoft Analytics package which I’m expecting to have great demographic information.

Also hoping for details of the Microsoft AdWords professional equivalent which I believe pilots in the UK soon.

    I thought this was a great event and twas free as well which I always like. The speakers were all good with Mel Carson particularly standing out. Sean Bechofers talk on Semantic web and web 3.0 was a bit heavy going but was an interesting insight into what people with bigger brains than myself are looking at for the future.

    It would be great to see a larger event of this type happening in Manchester rather than London as usual. Myself and Simon even traveled to Las Vegas last year because it was cheaper than London…..and much more fun.
