Technorati is borked right now

Technorati is BorkedI’m getting really quite surprised at how often Technorati throws a wobbler. At times it seems to be half my attempts to use Technorati respond with an error message: “Technorati is borked right now”.

I can only assume that this is a result of the huge success that the site has had over the past year or so. However, the problem is liable to resolve itself naturally by users migrating to competing services. Maybe Ice Rocket. If your site doesn’t work, there are plenty out there that do, no matter how big you are.

Looks like I’m not the only one who is getting hassled.

    Technorati is useless on a daily basis, their search function is a joke, and the figures given for your blogs vary up & down with every refresh.

    Like you say, there’s a big opportunity for someone with a working site to grab….
