Google announces new keyword tool – The AdWords team have released a new search-based keyword tool which provides you with keywords that are relevant to the content of your website but are not included in your AdWords campaign.

Google no longer Lively – Google has dumped its fledgling second-life clone called Lively. The Google labs attendee failed to meet the requirements and will be dismissed at the end of December.

Google voice search for iPhone – Google has updated its iPhone application to include voice recognition. We’ve had a play with this in the office and it works just great, saving time and occasionally providing comical suggestions.

Google Custom Search Engine on-demand – Google has updated its Custom Search Engine service to include on-demand indexing. This means you can create a site and have it indexed quickly (using your sitemap) so your users can search your site before it appears in Google’s main index.

Picasa 3 – Google has today announced the release of Picasa 3 which is the first version of Picasa out of beta. There are some great new features including the ability to edit movies and automatically sync with web-based albums.

Google SearchWiki – Google had added a new rating feature for logged in users of its search engine called SearchWiki. You can now vote up or down search results. It will be very interesting how the people at Google use this information- the impacts on SEO could be enormous.
