Market Research Tool

I’m loving Google Insights for Search, it’s a tool that makes me want to go back to University and do market research all day!

This is great for online marketers because you can see seasonal trends for specific keywords or categories of searches that may explain dips or peaks in your results. You can also see new trends in searches that your competitors may not yet have picked up on.

It’s also fantastic for Marketing Professionals, for use at the start of projects or pitches. The data available is quite impressive and it produces really nice looking graphs.

Avinash has written up his exploration of the tool in his post titled Competitive Intelligence Analysis: Google Insights for Search.
