What is Drupal?
Drupal is an open source content management system (CMS) which is written in PHP and is used to power hundreds of thousands of websites worldwide. Drupal was first released in 2001 and has grown in popularity ever since, with tens of thousands of developers adopting it as their preferred CMS.
Drupal is an extremely powerful, flexible and scalable CMS, making it suitable for large commercial websites. As so many developers contribute to Drupal, there are many pre-existing modules which can significantly reduce development time for complex web builds.
