Fancy Meeting Up This Summer?Elle Williams | April 24th 2019
We’re a quarter of the way through 2019, spring has arrived, and so has the weather (hopefully it will last again), but more importantly, so has Game of Thrones.
Our first Magento and Online Marketing Meetup in Manchester for the year has been and gone, and we’re gearing up for the next ones.
As you know, PushON has been organising Magento Meetups for a few years and we wanted to continue to grow the digital marketing sector in the North West. We held our first Online Marketing Meetup earlier this month which was a success. We had fantastic speakers both agency and client-side, and enthusiastic marketing professionals attended. Don’t worry if you missed the first meetup; you can find the speaker slides here.
PushON, along with our partners, organised three more meetups; Bristol Magento, Manchester Magento and Manchester Online Marketing Meetup.
The Bristol Magento Meetup was our first one of 2019, and with help from our friends at Brightpearl, we’re aiming to develop and promote digital marketing within the South West region, with the hope of influencing job opportunities and further interest in Magento, and eCommerce.
Our friends at Klevu kindly sponsored the event and were the headline speakers. We also had Tom Robertshaw from Space 48 and Gareth Simpson from Seeker Digital. The meetup was held at the Navy Volunteer, King Street on 1st May.

On Wednesday 5th June, we will be hosting our Summer Magento Meetup at WeWork Spinningfields. The event is sponsored by HardSoft, who will also be our headline speaker. Keep an eye out for more updates including speaker announcements.
Finally, our second Online Marketing Meetup will be the following week on Wednesday 12th June at WeWork Spinningfields. We have four speakers lined up:
- Mark Kuhillow from R.O.EYE
- Pierre from Hun Consulting
- Jonny Swindlehurst from Last Dot
- Alex Hogan from PushON
All our Meetups are free to attend, and food and drinks will be provided.
If you’re interested in speaking at our Meetups whether it’s in Manchester or Bristol, please feel free to get in touch with us. We’re always on the lookout for speakers.
If you think your city would benefit from a digital marketing meetup covering Magento, eCommerce or Online Marketing, let us know, and we’ll do research.
We hope to see you at our upcoming Meetups!
