A Magento Meetup with KlevuSimon Wharton | November 15th 2016
Following on from the success of the last two meetups, we’ve got ourselves a fairly tasty speaker lined up for the next Meetup on Wednesday December 7th at the Shed, MMU. We’re really rather pleased to have Nilay Oza, founder of Klevu, in to speak. Some of the people I respect mostly in the industry rate this as the leading eCommerce Site Search tool for Magento. I was talking to one young gent who on a particular client recouped the fee in 24 hours. Impressive.
Nilay Oza is the Co-Founder of Klevu, an NLP-based, self-learning eCommerce site search solution, designed for enterprise-level and mid-level online retailers. Nilay’s background is very focused on natural language processing (a key component of Klevu), which was also a key focus in his PhD.
The majority of Klevu’s clients are using the Magento platform and they have an existing integration for both Magento 1 and Magento 2. Klevu was originally founded in 2013 and is now used by over 3,000 merchants from all over the world. Some of Klevu’s clients include Agent Provocateur, O’Neills, Jack Daniels, Yamaha and Zimmermann.
We also have Manchester’s finest, CTI Digital, doing a piece on Migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2. This is a challenge we’re going to increasingly face over the next 18 months or so.
We also have David from Coffee Pot Digital sharing some of his experiences of Magento from a marketing perspective over the past couple of years. Let’s face it, folks, we’re here to use Magento for a commercial purpose so we need to cover everything we can to ensure we generate an ROI.
And he hasn’t confirmed yet, but I hope to have Jamie Cowie from Magento Expert Consulting Group running a clinic. I’ll be taking questions in advance for that one so we can prep.
Is there anything more we can do for you?
Oh yes, there will be beer and Pizza.
