Whistlefish ordered a B2B site rebuild using Magento Commerce. The key consideration for PushON was fully understanding their varying customer’s order processes so that we could create a site with a more convenient onsite experience.
For their customers, typically small business owners, adjusting to a new and potentially complicated system could prove frustrating. The new site had to simplify the order process with immediate effect without compromising important details around shipping and invoicing.
For first time visitors placing a new order was made faster and simpler. Customers could now browse the catalogue and add what they wanted to their basket or simply enter a list of product SKUs (Shop Keeping Units that identify characteristics about each product, such as manufacturer, brand, style, colour and size).
Regular customers were encouraged to open trade accounts by giving them access to wholesale pricing and a dashboard facility which allows them to see past orders, observe their credit limits and track their shipping until delivery. This improved the shopping experience by providing more information on their past orders and reducing the average order time dramatically.
MOTO payment capability was also added to the site. This allowed the sales team to process phone orders clearly and efficiently and by tracking order history returning customers could re-order or modify their past orders in a matter of minutes.
PushON achieved its objectives; vastly improved user experience for their trade customers, plus a more effective process/service for sales staff.
