Bimuno case study

Bimuno are a leading manufacturer and distributor of the Bimuno prebiotic supplement. The supplement comes in three formats for daily use, sensitive stomachs and for use when travelling.



Bimuno approached PushON with a requirement to develop their eCommerce website utilising Magento 2. Due to the nature of the products sold by Bimuno, a fundamental requirement was to incorporate subscription functionality to facilitate customers purchasing products they require regularly.

Informing customers of ingredients and frequently asked questions was particularly important to Bimuno customers, therefore integrating this into the website was another key requirement.



PushON facilitated a series of workshops to gather the project requirements, culminating in delivery of a detailed functional specification and creative brief.

The UX Design team developed user-centric designs based on analytical and persona information, in addition to the creative brief and brand guidelines. Consideration was given to usability around subscription products as this functionality is not core to Magento Open Source, and therefore would need to be implemented for Bimuno.
