Adobe Commerce (Magento) Quality Assurance
Supporting your Adobe Commerce (Magento) businessQuality Assurance (QA) is a critical component of delivering any complete implementations or new features for any eCommerce platform. The PushON QA team has well defined processes to ensure quality, and smooth release.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Our Adobe Commerce Quality Assurance (QA) team has two primary services: QA and Release Management. QA is embedded within our Platform Development, Technical Support and Development Retainer services – providing quality assurance prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT). In addition to the core QA offering, the QA team are also responsible for release management services, this involves pre-deployment testing, release and post-deploying testing.
Both QA and release management are embedded within our own services, but we also offer them to in-house Adobe Commerce (Magento) development teams that want quality assurance embedded within their workflows.
PushON has been providing QA and release management services within our own and in-house team workflows since 2008, when we worked with Adobe Commerce (Magento).

Adobe Commerce (Magento) Quality Assurance Workflow
The QA team is responsible for two key elements of our development cycle: quality assurance and release management. Quality assurance is ensuring that sprint output meets the defined acceptance criteria before UAT. Release management is the process of preparing and releasing accepted work into the live environment.

Adobe Commerce (Magento) Release Management
Our QA team are responsible for release management, ensuring that pre-deployment testing, release and post-deployment tests are completed.
1. Pre-deployment Testing
Prior to release, all features are merged into a single branch and re-tested against acceptance criteria and core tests.
2. Release
The QA team is responsible for deploying new features through our deployment pipelines. This task is carried out through a UI, without any need to access the live infrastructure. A senior Adobe Commerce certified developer is on hand in the unlikely event rollback or intervention is required.
3. Post-deployment Testing
Following deployment of new features, the QA team run back through the same acceptance criteria and core tests to ensure that work item has been deployed as expected.
