Business Intelligence Workshop
We sit down with you and your team to understand the sources of data held within the business; CRM, analytics, social, marketing channels are frequently utilised data sources, however others exist. Mapping the data and linking it together allows us to achieve an aerial view of the data landscape.
Next step is to define what is useful to you as a business. What are your KPIs? What are your objectives? What gaps are there that can be overcome? What are your challenges?
Finally, we pull together a business intelligence strategy. The strategy defines what tools/systems need to be put in place (and often integrated) in order to provide the information you need, in the format you want it, when you want it.
As an eCommerce agency we primarily focus on business intelligence for eCommerce platforms. Magento Business Intelligence, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics are the tools we primarily use, however, Google Tag Manager and Data Studio are also useful. We have also applied these tools to non-eCommerce businesses in the leisure, retail and entertainment industries.
When data requires integration between various systems, we plug in our development team, who are well-versed in the use of APIs (application programming interfaces) and EDIs (electronic data interfaces) to do so.
Depending on your objectives we can deliver reporting in various formats. For day-to-day measurement, reporting through a tool such as Magento Business Intelligence, Adobe Analytics or Google Data Studio should be achievable. Individual dashboards can be set up within these tools to allow different stakeholders to obtain information specific for their role within the business.
Many businesses require analysis of data on a weekly, monthly or even quarterly basis, to provide additional insight that a reporting tool cannot provide. Our business intelligence consultants can provide this for you, in a format that suits you. Whether that be a written report, or a presentation directly to the board.
